I tell you a lot about the power of the pause, and I'm going to remind you again this week because it's especially needed with all the crazy energies in the world right now, and in your inner world.
In the stillness of the pause we recalibrate, we recenter, we come back into alignment with our Highest Selves. We can hear the whispers of our Soul and know our next steps, our truths, and connect to our personal power and sovereignty. Many of you have been telling me you're not sleeping, you're feeling overwhelmed, and old issues are resurfacing. We're between eclipses, one was lunar on the 13th/14th, and one will be solar coming on Saturday, so we’re healing the feminine and masculine on deeper levels. Astrologer Chani Nicolas says, “Eclipses have a tendency to speed up storylines and poke pain points.” Astrologer Danielle Paige says, “You're changing, upgrading & rewriting chapters in your book. With eclipses, these chapters are about your fate. Let go. Trust. Allow. Listen.” Now more than ever, even if it's just five-minutes, take a quiet reprieve whenever you can. Schedule less if it's possible. Spend time in nature. Pick up a coloring book and color to get out of your analytical mind. Do a few minutes of breathing exercises. Daydream. Ground yourself. Get out of linear thinking and open to expansion. Remember, you’re still on purpose, even in stillness.

Since we talked about fear last week, I want to share another technique to add to your energy tool belt. I created this a few years ago, and it’s one of my go-to methods because it’s both simple and highly effective.
This technique is especially helpful when fear feels overwhelming or when your mind won’t quiet down—when the inner chatter becomes relentless, almost like a high-pitched, nonstop noise in your head. Often, racing thoughts and overthinking stem from a fear response that gets trapped in the body. If you’ve tried grounding yourself but the panicked mental cacophony won’t subside, stuck fear may be the culprit. In traditional Chinese medicine, different organs store different emotions and the kidneys hold the frequency of fear. Fear can become lodged there, intensifying anxiety and mental static. Here’s what I do when that happens: (If you’d rather watch and follow along, click here for my YouTube video where I walk you through this technique step by step) -Place your hands over your lower back where your kidneys are—no need to be exact. With your hands spread, you’ll naturally cover the area. -Start by gently tapping and taking three deep breaths in and out. This helps loosen that high-frequency panic you may be hearing in your head or feeling in your body. -Next, breathe into your hands, allowing your lower back to expand on the inhale, filling your kidneys with breath and light. As you exhale, imagine that energy flowing down through your tailbone and into the Earth. Repeat this a few times. I find that after doing this, everything settles—my body, my mind, and my emotions all feel quieter. If you still feel amped up, try my deep grounding meditation—earth energy is powerful for pulling out any lingering fear. But more often than not, this technique alone will bring you back to center. Try this the next time fear won’t let go. It’s a simple yet powerful way to reset and find more inner peace. I hope it helps you as much as it’s helped me! It's been a doozy this past week hasn't it? Not only is there chaos in the world, but it seems that everyone's personal chaos and issues are front and center. If you're feeling this, know that you're not alone.
On an energetic level, we’re emotionally cleaning house on our deep wounds. From fear to self-pity, doubt to lack of worth, anger, questioning things, confusion and frustration, some of our biggest issues are surfacing to be healed. The most common word I've heard so far in sessions this week, is "depression." Typically, depression would be anger that you don't think you have a right to have, yet this depression also seems to be coming from too much chaos and not being able to catch up to ourselves. What I mean by that, is that as spirits, we move quickly. However, bodies move slowly. It’s why we can heal a physical issue emotionally, but it may take time to show up in our physical reality. (I’m launching something soon in which we dive into topics such as this in much more detail.) Part of the surfacing of our personal emotional Achilles heels, is us as a collective literally birthing a new world. And it can get really dark and messy before things level out and become so much more filled with light. We're seeing that on a global scale, especially as the old paradigm of patriarchy and patriarchal control is gripping as tightly and loudly as possible. Here’s the good news though- it’s on its way out. Even if you can’t see or imagine that right now, it is. We’re here for a bigger purpose. We’re here to usher in a new age, a new frequency and new paradigms of co-creation between the masculine and the feminine, and of collective unity. When things get especially rough, it can be hard to remember that. That's when you taking care of yourself is the most important thing. So, back to the beginning, we are healing our own darkest issues to ultimately heal the world. Because it starts with individual work first. And that's not fun, nor comfortable at times. What to do when you're absolutely melting down? I'm going to put links to various techniques below. Pick and choose what works for you because sometimes a technique that has worked wonders, won't do anything, and sometimes something that wasn’t a favorite before, works wonders now. If you need to do multiple techniques, that’s ok too. I sure did over the weekend! Here are previous blogs and YouTube videos to help: 7 Techniques To Help You Transcend Your Fears Defeating Doubt Healing for Panic Attacks, Fear and Anxiety Anger Release Techniques The Ladder of Emotions EFT Tapping to Alleviate a Crisis Sensory Engagement for Greater Presence Ultimately, you need to come back to your center. You need to ground into yourself. Either an actual deep grounding (I have you run mud in this one which is phenomenally soothing when you’re fried and amped up) or technique to calm your nervous system and get present. Never underestimate the power of being in nature either. Get outside if and when you can. Plus, you need to connect to your heart. Put your hands over your heart and breathe and center your consciousness there. Because the power is within. It's underneath all of the noise and all of the emotional trauma. It’s not fun to be the caterpillar dissolving in the chrysalis, but think of how beautiful your butterfly wings will be once you come out. You got this! If you're struggling right now, reach out to schedule a session—I’m here to help. I started the year working to be very mindful of my thoughts and emotions. Because of that, I was catching any time a negative thought or crabby feeling was present.
I knew I needed to shift that thought/feeling quickly into something else, so I came up with the image of a pink elephant. She looks a bit like dumbo, minus the ears, and she has wings. Now, why a pink elephant you might ask? Because it makes me laugh and stop taking myself so seriously. It shifts my mood, even if I have to keep putting the pink elephant in my face as my object of focus. To me, the pink elephant represents inner peace and freedom. Freedom and peace from whatever dark thoughts and feelings I'm experiencing. And wow has it worked wonders! You can use any ridiculous image- a purple kangaroo with a top hat and cane, a giant bunny dressed and celebrating like it’s Mardi Gras- anything. It doesn't have to be an animal, but it needs to be silly enough to give you pause and get you out of your swirl of negativity and fears etc. Something to literally lighten your mood. If it makes you smile or laugh, all the better! Because remember, nothing has power over you when you can laugh at it. That’s how I learned to clear ghosts from haunted houses. No matter how awful the energy was, it couldn’t touch me when I was laughing at it. And you may need to fake it 'til you make it at first. That’s why you choose an absurd, goofy image. Try it this week and let me know how it goes and what image you come up with. I’ll tell you this, I’ve found incredible liberation already this year with my pink elephant. If I can do it, so can you! |
