Tomorrow is my Birthday & I love birthdays!! (I have a very magical inner child!)
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and astrologically, Jupiter is the planet of expansion, luck, and good fortune. One of the most expansive energies is gratitude. Meaning, the more you focus on it, the more there is to be grateful for. This is why so many people encourage gratitude. It opens your receiving. It also brings us into present time. We're called to slow down and acknowledge what is working, while rooting into the now. Plus, it over-rides lack mentality by tuning you into the abundance that surrounds you. To really amplify the expansiveness of gratitude, couple it with appreciation. On the Abraham Hicks Emotional Guidance Scale, appreciation has the highest emotional frequency, along with love and joy. So- right now, think of even just a few things you're grateful for, but also feel your appreciation for those things. Notice how that opens your heart and lifts your energy. Last year, I released a micro-meditation to amplify the feeling of appreciation. Click here to listen. I’m super grateful and appreciative for you being in my life!

There’s a misconception I’ve spoken about before, but it bears repeating:
Just because you’re on a spiritual or personal growth path, doesn’t mean you’re perfect. Doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. Doesn’t mean you’re flawless. We’re human, which means we’ll make mistakes. Thinking you have to be perfect or do everything perfectly is a disservice to yourself. It doesn’t allow for exploration, taking a chance, or a positive risk. What if you reframed a “mistake” as an “Oops”—something forgivable? A lesson learned and released, rather than a punishment to carry? Same with thinking you have to be perfect, so people won’t judge you. Psst—here’s a secret: they’ll judge you anyway. And that’s OK. You’ll survive. It might not feel like it at times, but you will. Perfection is a trap of the negative ego. It keeps you small. It keeps you quiet. It also keeps your dreams in the “ever-out-of-reach” future. The classic: When I ...[fill in the blank], then I’ll finally ...[fill in the blank]. The subtext? When I’m perfect, then I’ll be worthy of what I desire. But that mindset robs you of your joy and personal power in the present. It delays your dreams in service of an illusion. I’m definitely not perfect. I judge. I get righteous. I blame. I lack compassion at times. I feel the full range of what it means to be human. And at the same time, I work to release and shift out of the constricting thoughts, emotions, and energy I fall into. That’s what growth asks of you: not perfection—just the willingness to take responsibility and choose differently. You’re not here to be perfect. You’re here to be real. To show up—flaws and all. Ever growing, ever learning, ever evolving. Living as your authentic self. Because that realness? That’s your light: magnetic, honest, and incredibly sexy. |
