If I’ve done my job in 2025 (highlighted words will bring you to a previous blog), you remember that you are the authority, not the algorithm, and that you always have choice in everything you undertake.
You’ve been honoring your capacity, rather than pushing harder. You’re able to stop any mental spin you’re in, and quiet fear and over-thinking. As well as being able to come back to center in the midst of chaos, and quiet energetic noise. You use a chakra healing meditation to receive support from your unseen team and angelic helpers. You know how to breathe through any restlessness you’re feeling, into a state of calm. You’re creating inner peace by acknowledging your negative payoffs and releasing blame, as well as by using the pink elephant technique. You’re using a simple practice to experience greater freedom. You’ve created more emotional regulation using The Ladder of Emotions, and by focusing on the most self-loving thing you could do. You recognize the lie of perfection and can see mistakes as an “oops,” as well as releasing control and recognizing that sometimes what appears in our reality, is something better than what we had planned. You remember that grace costs you nothing, while living your life by the true definition of success. You’re standing in the power pose to train your body in confidence, while also holding out for what’s fabulous, versus just OK. You listen to wonderfully fun affirmations for personal expansion. Plus, you know how to muscle test yourself. You turn to the Ho'oponopono to elegantly shift what’s stuck in your reality. And you honor the power of the pause and leisure time, to recalibrate and come back into alignment. Especially as there can be a sense of urgency as we close out the year. So, I invite you to imagine literally unhooking from the urgency, and give yourself something that brings you comfort and soothes you- a bath, time to watch holiday movies, time to read, going on a walk- whatever brings you a sense of calm presence. No matter how much there is "to do." The pause is necessary, self-loving, and expands time to work in your favor. May the end of 2025 be magical for you, and may 2026 surprise and delight you in extraordinary ways!! Happy Holidays! See you in 2026!

Starting in 2018, every December I’ve shared a concept originated by John Gordon, to choose your word for the upcoming year.
I want to change it up this year because all good ideas need revisiting. Plus, sometimes it's not just a single word that encompasses what you desire. I still understand and appreciate the reason behind distilling it down, but I also know that the past couple years, I've had a few words that I utilize as my guideposts. So rather than a word, what if it's a daily intention? What if you choose to start each day with an openness to infinite possibility? With a willingness to be surprised and delighted*. To be more of your authentic self. To live from your value. To see the magic in your day. What if instead of a word, you create a morning routine in which you take a moment for yourself to breathe and center. You write out your intentions and read them each morning, thereby actively creating your day. You show yourself you’re worthy of creating time for YOU. Now of course, if you like the one word and it’s fun, absolutely choose one! (If you’re new to this concept, click here to read more.) However, if the word feels pressure filled or you just want more from your 2026, create a new morning routine. Like in a play, the hero has a journey. How do you want your hero’s journey to go in 2026? *A Brigitte Vicknins concept |
