Freedom is one of the greatest goals we can pursue—and one of the deepest gifts we can experience.
It's something that can increase or decrease, both internally, and externally. When our external freedoms are being threatened in any way, it's an opportunity to look within and notice: Where am I still not free? Where do old beliefs, emotions, or perspectives hinder my sense of freedom? If you want to experience more freedom in the world, it begins with your inner world. Remember, nothing changes until you do. You are a microcosm of the macrocosm. So, this week, ask yourself: Where can I create more freedom in my reality? Tune in to your beliefs, thoughts, and emotions and notice what creates constriction, versus expansion. Where do you feel held down, rather than being able to soar? Sometimes, simply bringing awareness begins to open the door. But here’s the key- instead of focusing on what you want freedom from, focus on what you want freedom to do/be/experience. We often put so much attention on freedom from, for example a specific ailment, that we don't focus on what it will feel like to be free of that. What it will feel like on the other side. What that freedom will give us when we attain it. Here’s a simple, but powerful exercise: 1-Think of what’s causing you the most constriction or lack of freedom. 2-Now imagine you’re completely free from that. What can you do/be/experience now? Put all your attention on what you can do, be, and experience on the other side of this. Really breathe that in. See yourself doing/being/experiencing the very things you're desiring with your newfound freedom. 3-Here’s the most important step: feel the feeling of freedom. Feel it fully. Feel the expansiveness. Feel the joy. Let your heart open to that energy. Stay in the feeling for as long as you desire. Repeat steps 2 and 3 daily—seeing and feeling your freedom as if it’s already here. To truly amplify it, invite your senses in: What does freedom sound like? Smell like? Taste like? Make it real. It doesn’t have to take long, even a few minutes will begin to shift your resonance. Because when you consistently embody the energy of freedom, it expands and draws to you the very experiences your Soul desires. Freedom isn’t something we chase. It’s something we choose. What if the freedom you seek is already seeking you?
