BE Love

We sometimes think we have these huge Divine assignments, but what if they’re in the little daily interactions?

We had plans Sunday that canceled that morning. Clark decided we should still go out to dinner and we picked a restaurant.

I was unsure whether I wanted to sit inside or outside, so I took a meditative moment and intentionally asked where we would be the most aligned with our server and where we’d have the most fun. The answer was outside.

Well, our waitress, Christina (it was not lost on me that we share a name), immediately told us that we were emitting joy.

We had great rapport and loved her right away.

Later in the evening, she got emotional and told us she was praying for a sign earlier that day and when we sat down, she knew she received it by the love we were radiating.

And then, she was even more blown away by the fact that something that came up organically in our conversation gave her the literal answer to what she’d been struggling with, without us even knowing she had the question.

As a treat, she and the sommelier gave us a mélange of desserts on the house because they wanted to do something nice for us.

All we were doing was what we do naturally- talking to them and being personable.

So, that's the Divine assignment- BE Love.

It won’t always be in grand ways, sometimes it's in the little daily interactions that elevate those around you. Your presence has the power to shift the energy of a person or situation.

BE Love. Because you never know how much good it can do.
