Never underestimate the power of laughter.
Back in my 20s when I was learning to house heal and clear negative spirits, we were told to laugh at them. Nothing can hold power over you if you can laugh at it, and I found that to be true. It would rile up the ghosts and make them extremely angry and threatening, but ultimately, the more I laughed at them, the more I could see their anger was an illusion and I held all the power. Then I could clear them quite easily. If I ever tried to fight with a ghost or entity, forget it, it would stick like glue. No budging there. Apply this to your life. If you can laugh at something, you take away its power over you. Once you take your power back from it, no matter how awful it seems, you can eventually step around/over/through it to find a solution. When it’s super serious, it becomes super real and then it can become immovable. The more serious, the more frozen. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Everything is energy, everything can be changed, nothing is bound in stone. The next time something upsetting comes your way, ask yourself if you want to give it your power and if the answer is no, then laugh. Even if you have to fake it at first, say, “ha ha ha” until you actually are laughing. Laughter really is the best medicine. You’ll be amazed at how much the energy shifts when you allow the lightness of laughter to transform the dark.
