When The Universe Changes Your Screensaver

My computer changed my screensaver on me unexpectedly after a weekend away.

When I turned on my computer, the image that came up was one of a redwood forest. At first I was upset and went to change it back, because I loved my previous image. But then I realized there was a reason that my unseen team was showing me this particular image. 
 
While a practical person could say, it's a stock photo, I see the bigger message of, there are no accidents.
 
I'd come back from my trip feeling much more spacious and this image evoked the sense of grounded calm that I had when I was away. It reminded me to breathe and feel expansive. 
 
Sometimes we get stuck on the way things are supposed to look. But at its core, that's control. 
 
What if, instead of resisting what appears, we surrendered to it? Is there a deeper message in what’s showing up—something better than what we had planned?
 
Ultimately, Earth is a school for your Soul. And while you may be clinging tightly to your own lesson plan, your Soul might have a different one in mind—even if it doesn’t look like what you think you want.

Yes, you can change what appears. But before you do, pause and ask: Does this new thing actually serve me better than what I was so sure I needed?
 
Because sometimes, a path opens through the forest you didn’t expect to walk.
