The Sacred Pause

I've been hearing from many of you that you’re feeling a sense of urgency lately. Along with that, many of you are talking about being extra on edge.

There are a lot of energetic changes happening and the world is in a time of very fast paced evolution, even if it isn’t always evident in our daily lives.

When you feel urgency strongly, like everything has to be done/solved/fixed NOW, that is the time to intentionally slowwwwww down.

Create a sacred pause.

Step away from what you’re doing and breathe, allowing the exhale to be longer than the inhale.

It may even be helpful to imagine your life like a tape player – for those of us who know what that is lol, and hit pause. Or like a TV screen and you pause what you're watching.

Ground yourself.

Run mud as earth energy to calm the spin.

Since it’s summer, go outside and walk on the grass, hug a tree, garden, or do something physical like going for a walk or a run.

In that sacred pause, you put a glitch in the stress loop. You stop the bullet train of emotional turmoil and swirling thoughts from leaving the station.

And when you can, create more literal breathing room in your calendar, instead of over scheduling.

There’s a reason I remind you of this often. When you take that sacred pause, you can recalibrate into present time. In that place of pause, you can choose how you want to proceed, rather than living and reacting from the old emotions or thoughts or wounds.

That’s living your empowerment.
