Consciously Choosing Success
To further the discussion of last week's blog on shifting perspective, today I want to augment the part that spoke of choice, and authorship.
I wrote last week's blog Sunday morning, prior to going to the puppy class I spoke of, because I had already consciously chosen that it was going to be a great class. And I kept choosing that all day.
Here's the part I left out – I mistakenly thought that he would be with a different trainer and so when I wrote the blog as what I was putting out there, I started raving about the trainer as well.
When I showed up last Sunday, it was the same trainer he had been with. And while everything I said was true last week, I still wasn't 100% thrilled with the trainer.
Thus, before publishing, I edited out the part about the new trainer. However, I still kept choosing a different trainer.
Well, I love the way the Universe finds a way to intervene on your behalf when you've made a conscious choice so continually.
Something came up for our Sunday evening this past weekend, so I needed to change puppy class. I remembered that the trainer said Ollie would do better in a different class more geared towards his temperament. I looked and there was one spot available Saturday morning in that class. So, we went.
Lo and behold, it was a different trainer and this trainer was brilliant!
Everything that I had originally written out came true. This trainer was much more knowledgeable, and this class was an even better fit than the other one. So much so that I already booked this class weekly for the next month.
Why do I bring this up? Because I literally wrote the story of how I wanted it to look.
And then when parts of it looked a certain way, yet other parts didn't still quite match what I was wanting, I kept rereading what I originally wrote and making a conscious choice to see that reality.
And everything rearranged to make it so.
Remember that you are the author of your reality and you always have choice. If at first the choice doesn't match what you want, keep choosing what you want to see. It's not a one and done.
