With everything going on in the world right now, it’s easy to slip into despair, rage, and blame. You need to process through your pain underneath the emotions coming to the surface, because for a lot of us, those emotions are intense. Many of you have told me that your emotional responses lately aren’t rational. I know for myself, irrational levels of perfection energy fueled a rage response the other evening that was completely unwarranted to the actual situation at hand.
So, what to do? Recognize that you’re being impacted by the events in the world. Maybe it’s the fires, Covid, Afghanistan, Haiti, or elsewhere. Honor that you feel the pain from those situations, even if you're not consciously aware of it. That pain is triggering your own personal pain.
What about the issue that most upsets you, triggers you? If it’s Covid or the fires, maybe you feel fear which triggers a lack of safety. If it’s Afghanistan, maybe you acutely feel the loss of freedom for the people there, especially the women and girls, and the domination energy causes you rage.
Once you recognize what in you is being triggered, you can work on your personal issues so that you become part of the solution.
Take your power back and pull yourself out of blame. Remember that you matter and you’re on this planet at this time to add your voice and energy to a world becoming new. No, we didn’t know how intense this time would be when we signed up to come and be in a body, but you’re here so you agreed to it. You are not a victim. You agreed to bring your particular light and healing energies to the world the way only you can.
That might mean taking physical action by helping refugees or firefighters etc., or it might mean that you take a moment every morning to send healing light and support to the area that most draws you. It might seem minimal, but any way that you add your energy has impact. And that includes any negativity you put out.
If Covid has you riled up, focus on the virus disappearing.
With the fires and hurricanes, focus on balanced elements and healing the planet.
With Afghanistan, focus on the freedom of the people.
Whether it's these issues or others, focus on the solution. On the highest outcome for the good of all. Don’t get stuck on it turning out the way you fear it might, or on the way you think is best- that’s control. Focus on the peace behind the issue. The healing. The freedom. Then ultimately, bring in the love. Be the conduit for luminous change.
Breathe out your pain, and breathe in the light. Do that consistently.
